Level Va and Vb contain the nodes of the posterior triangle group located posteriorly to the sternocleidomastoid muscle around the lower part of the spinal accessory nerve and the transverse cervical vessels. Level V is subdivided according to the respective relationship with the cricoid cartilage with Va relating to the upper nodes. |
